Terms of use
Last updated 6 September 2026
These terms cover your use of floorplandrawer.com, operated by Known by One, LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, United States. By using the site you agree to them.
The service
Floor Plan Drawer is a free, browser-based floor plan editor. We may change, add or remove features, or introduce optional paid features, at any time. We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Your content
Anything you draw belongs to you. Because your plans are stored only in your browser, you are responsible for exporting backups. We have no copy and cannot recover lost work. You may use your exported plans for any purpose, personal or commercial, with no attribution required.
Not professional advice
Floor Plan Drawer produces planning drawings, not construction documents. Dimensions, areas and clearances are approximations based on what you enter. Do not rely on them for building work, planning or permit applications, structural, electrical or fire-safety decisions, legal property descriptions or purchase decisions without independent verification by a qualified professional.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to infringe anyone's rights, to attack or overload the service, or to scrape it at scale. Do not remove or obscure notices on the site.
Our content
The editor software, site design, text and furniture symbols are owned by Known by One, LLC or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute the software or site content except as permitted by these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Known by One, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months, which for the free service is zero.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in them removes consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the current version. Questions: contact@floorplandrawer.com.
